So, I'm hoping that one of you good people knows what to do, or who has had the same issue with the Saitek X52 throttle control. I've tried messing around with the settings in the control option, but can't figure out what's wrong. Trouble is, I don't seem to have any forward thrust from my throttle and I can't throttle down to zero, effectively meaning that I'm constantly in reverse regardless of whether my throttle is fully forward, fully back or somewhere in-between. I auto-launched from the penal ship and the reverse thrust kicked in again on release but this time I managed to avoid disaster by thrusting up and out into space. Consequently my ship was destroyed, I ended up having to pay over 8 Million Credits in insurance and ended up on a penal ship.
I went into the game and selected auto-launch, but as soon as the docking clamps were released my Fer-de-Lance immediately went into full reverse thrust and I had no throttle control whatsoever.
Plugged it in and loaded ED and gone into settings to check what the various axes and buttons do. I've recently bought a Saitek X52 Pro joystick/throttle.
